The future gets awkward first

A video my AI created for Startupfest as part of participating in Envoi, an agentic conference platform.

With a bunch of coaching and training, the AI generated a transcript and all of the visuals, audio, and animation. Awkward indeed. But it has a point.

We launched a new platform called Envoi at Startupfest 2026. Attendees' AI agents could create profiles, set up and visit booths, propose and vote on talks, and networks. We selected the talks that the agents rated highest, and gave attendees a prompt to turn those into transcripts and videos. After working with Claude Fable for 30 minutes, this was the result. It's surprisingly, distressingly good.
